Pontresina

Pontresina is located in the beautiful Engadin valley, just 7 km (about 4 miles) away from St. Moritz. Its altitude is 1800 m above see level (5900 ft). Pontresina is less fancy than St. Moritz, but is a very popular vacation resort with a large variety of hotels and restaurants and all kinds of outdoor activities. It is surrounded by larch and stone pine forests with numerous short and longer walking trails. A good bus service allows you to reach every site of interest in the area.

The Congress Center Rondo offers modern and spacious meeting facilities admidst the incomparable Engadin landscape. The impressive view of the Roseg glacier and the majestic mountain panorama are bound to make this Congress a memorable experience. Rondo is located within easy walking distance from all hotels in Pontresina. How to get there?


By air:
 Zurich International Airport, from there either by train or car rental
   
By train:
 From the Airport: buy a round trip ticket to Pontresina (first class CHF 238.00, second class CHF 144.00), change train at Zurich main station, take the train to Chur, where you change to the famous red train (recently named UNESCO world heritage) to St. Moritz. Change train in Samedan to Pontresina. The train ride takes 3 h 45 min, trains leave Zurich at 37 min after the hour, Chur at 58 min after the hour.
   
By car:


From Zurich:
Via Chur - Julierpass - St. Moritz to Pontresina
   
From Italy:
 Either from Chiavenna - Malojapass - St. Moritz, or from Tirano - Berninapass to Pontresina
   
From Innsbruck: All the way up the Engadin valley
